Biography:
Dr. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang studied Aquaculture at the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University in Vietnam (2002-2006). She underwent a Masters’s course at Kyushu University in Japan (2010-2012), and a Ph.D. course at the University of Otago in New Zealand (2015-2019). She has worked at Hue University since 2006 and undertaken important tasks such as (i) lecturing on subjects of seaweed aquaculture and ecological aquaculture; (ii) research on sustainable aquaculture, IMTA via developing cultured seaweed areas; Nutrient uptake of seaweed; Photosynthesis of seaweed; Marine heatwave.
