Biography:
Naomi Ubina is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the National Taiwan Ocean University. Her research interest is in computer vision and machine learning with application to technological innovation in aquaculture. Recently, she recently published the paper 'Evaluating fish feeding intensity in aquaculture with convolutional neural networks' in Aquaculture Engineering Journal (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.aquaeng.2021.102178). She is currently working on underwater 3D reconstruction for fish length estimation. She completed her Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of the Philippines Los Banos in 2012 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology at St. Paul University.
