We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the 5th Edition of the World Aquaculture, Fisheries and Seafood Conference (WA 2025), held from June 9–11, 2025, in the beautiful city of Rome, Italy. This global gathering brought together leading scientists, aquaculture experts, fisheries professionals, marine biologists, seafood industry stakeholders, and policy makers to discuss the most recent advancements, innovations, and challenges in the fields of aquaculture, sustainable fisheries, and seafood production. The conference featured a rich scientific program, including keynote presentations, expert-led sessions, Oral discussions, and poster exhibits. Topics covered ranged from sustainable aquaculture practices and marine ecosystem preservation to emerging technologies in seafood processing and climate-resilient fisheries. WAC 2025 fostered meaningful discussions, cross-sector collaboration, and global networking opportunities, all contributing to the collective efforts toward a more sustainable and productive aquatic future.
