Title : Research on the construction of rice, soft-shelled turtle and fish compound ecosystem and the technology of planting and breeding
Fish farming in rice fields is a green farming model vigorously advocated by China in recent years. The water resources, weed resources, and aquatic biological resources in the rice fields constitute a complex ecosystem. Using the turtle’s active and diligent foraging habits, it can control weeds, weeding, prey on aquatic animals, and drive away pests. At the same time, turtle’s residual bait and excrement can provide fertilizer for rice, which can increase the nutrition level of the water in the paddy field. To a certain extent, reduce the use of chemical fertilizers, and also promote the reproduction of plankton and other aquatic biological resources in the field, and increase the food for the Chinese soft-shelled turtles in the rice fields. The author has conducted research, discussion and practice on the relevant important links of the current technology model of paddy field turtle breeding in Anhui Province, and found that with the increase of bait and excrement, the concentration of N and P elements in the water body of the paddy field increased significantly, and the soil organic matter and various nutrients The element content has also been improved to varying degrees. During the experiment, it was also found that there are more non-economic wild trash fish in the rice field soft-shelled turtle ecosystem. Therefore, choosing to introduce economical aquatic animals into the rice field soft-shelled turtle model can further increase economic benefits. In order to further enrich the technical data and experience in the actual operation of the integrated farming of rice soft-shelled turtle, in 2016, we undertook the Anhui Province science and technology project "Research on key technologies for the construction of rice soft-shelled turtle ecosystem and the combination of planting and breeding" (1604a0702022), A series of experimental studies were carried out on the rice soft-shelled turtle ecosystem. Through experimental analysis, the benefits of comprehensive cultivation of rice and turtles are obvious. It can not only increase the yield of rice, but also increase the output of fish and turtles, increase the utilization rate of land and water resources, stabilize farmers' enthusiasm for growing food, and have obvious ecological benefits,economic benefits.
